Features: As one of fantastic concert of NCPA August chorus festival 2012, one of the most prestigious Spain's choral - B Vocal will be performing in concert hall of NCPA on 5th August.

BRIEF INTRODUCTION

b vocal is a Spanish singing group which perfectly combines comic theatre and a cappella music: i.e. music performed with no instrumental accompaniment, by imitating with their voices all the instruments. These traits have allowed them to build a quality artistic career path, leading to national and international prestige.

Among the highlights of the artistic journey of b vocal are the following: 17 years treading the boards, over 2,200 concerts, 4 CDs and 3 DVDs released, numerous appearances on radio and television, renowned performances and international awards.

They have performed before Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain at the King of Spain International Journalism Awards Gala, organised by the EFE Agency.

In addition to almost all the Spanish media, their work has been broadcasted on international media such as Telemundo-NBC International Channel, NHK, Latin American Herald Tribune, La Nación, SBS Korea (Star King)...

They have toured the principal theatres and auditoria around Spain, whose schedules have had public and critic successes. In 2007 and 2008 they performed in the Teatro Bellas Artes (Fine Arts) in Madrid before over 30,000 spectators.

In 2006, they received the First Jury Prize and the Public Prize at the Vokal.Total International Festival in Graz (Austria). In 2010 they obtained five awards presented by the Jury and Audience in New York and San Francisco, at the prestigious festival Harmony Sweepstakes. In their international career they have visited Spain, France, Austria, Belgium, Slovakia, China, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, USA, … In their last tour in USA (2011) they presented very successfully their spectacle including voices and humor for a week in Broadway. In 2011 and 2012 they tour in China and South Korea, performing, among others, in the Shanghai Oriental Arts Center and the Seoul Arts Center.

They have conducted Master Classes on voice and vocal music in countries like China and Japan. They performed in International Exhibition Zaragoza 2008 and in the Spanish Pavillion of the Universal Exhibition of Shanghai 2010.

On the back of seventeen years of hits, b vocal has become one of the most versatile and original Spanish music groups - as well as one of the main reference points for a cappella music worldwide.
