BRIEF INTRODUCTION

TVXQ, an initialism for Tong Vfang Xien Qi (Chinese: 東方神起). They are known as Tohoshinki in Japanese releases.

TVXQ is formed by SM Entertainment in 2003. With over 13 million physical records sold since 2004, TVXQ has become one of Asia's most successful music acts of their generation. They are often referred to as "Asia's Stars" and the "Kings of K-pop" for their immense success and contributions to Korean pop.

According to the Oricon, TVXQ is Japan's best-selling foreign music act in CD singles of all time and also the international artist with the most number-one singles in history. Their Japanese Time Tour, one of the highest-grossing concert tours of 2013, was the highest-attended concert tour held by an international music act. With the tour, the duo also became the first non-Japanese Asian artist to headline a nationwide five-Dome tour and the first international artist to perform at the Nissan Stadium. Billboard has described the group as "K-pop royalty".
