Features: One of the hottest representative of the classical music pianist in French, Kim Barbier will put on the frist tour shows "French Rose of Berlin Philharmonic" in Beijing on August 5th 2011.
BRIEF INTRODUCTION
Kim Barbier is a young french pianist, formed with great sucess at the "Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Paris", where she gratuated with the highest distintion and coursed the postgraduate studies.
She studied with Pierre-Laurent Aimard, Gyorgy Kurtag and Leon Fleisher. She continued her studies in London with the famous pedagogue Maria Curcio, a former student of the great pianist Arthur Schnabel.
Kim Barbier is also an experienced chamber music player, performing with prominent musicians as Guy Braunstein, Francois Leleux, Antoine Tamestit, Sol Gabetta, Daishin Kashimoto, Emmanuel Pahud, David Geringas or Jing Zhao. She is a member of the Pergamonquartett and the Trio Mediterrain. She collaborates with members and the first soloists of the Berliner Philharmoniker Orchestra.
