BRIEF INTRODUCTION

The representative play by renowned British detective novelist and playwright Anthony Horowitz was first performed in 1999 and later staged in London's West End in 2000; this is the Chinese edition of the classic suspense drama "MINDGAME".

SYNOPSIS

To complete his new book, acclaimed "true crime" author Stiller decided to interview notorious serial killer Eastman - a demon who had been locked up in a mental hospital for ten years. However, when Stiller stepped into this isolated madhouse, what greeted him was not cooperation, but strange obstruction. Dr. Farr was hostile to him, insisting that the interview was "too dangerous." The nurses with twinkling eyes, the inhuman whispers deep in the corridor, and the alarms that sound from time to time are all unsettling. The rancid smell of the liver sandwich, the cold light of the scalpel, the roar in the night. In this cage where madmen are imprisoned, real monsters are tearing open cracks in the darkness...

Original screenplay by Anthony Horowitz

Anthony Horowitz is the most famous detective novel writer and playwright in Britain today. He has made achievements in novels, movies, TV series and other genres. Anthony Horowitz's most famous work is the "Young Detective" series of novels known as "Boy 007", which have sold more than 20 million copies and been adapted into a TV series by Amazon.

At the same time, his love for the detective queen Agatha Christie also gave Horowitz continuous creative inspiration. He has served as a screenwriter for several series of ITV's Poirot series. In 2016, his novel "The Magpie Murders", a tribute to Agatha, caused a huge sensation in the European and American literary circles upon its release, and was adapted into a film.

His play "Mind Games" premiered in 1999 and was adapted for the West End in 2000. In 2018, the play was staged again at the Ambassador Theater in London and toured the UK nationally.
