PROGRAMME INTRODUCTION

Beijing Children's Occupational Experience Center aims to strengthen children's sense of occupation, independence and competition by setting up varieties of occupational opportunities, where children can learn lessons from entertainment. It is utterly a creative extracurricular educational platform for children.

Children's Occupational Experience, catering for the children from age 4 to 15, has set up a variety of social occupations covering all circles the children may like, including fireman, driver, traffic police, journalist, chef, lawyer, doctor, bank clerk, tour conductor, model, etc. When the child arrives at the center, he will get a map of the HAPPY CITY which indicates the position of each occupation, in addition to a certain amount of "special money" called "Leyuan" or "Happy Yuan". Children can use the "Leyuan" to buy things in supermarket, stationery shop, ice cream shop, hamburger shop and so on in the Happy City. But once the "Leyuan" run out, the children have to find an occupation to gain more. Children will be rewarded with "Leyuan" after they have their job well done, and they will choose to deposit the "Leyuan" in the bank or to spend them in other ways. By this kind of experience, children will have a better platform to show off their versatility and a better understanding of the social conduct of the adult world.
