BRIEF INTRODUCTION

The Animals and Children Took to the Streets is the second production by the 1927 Troupe. It tells the story of Agnes Jarvis and her daughter living in a leased house in the shabby and bewilderingly changeable estuary building. It explores the eternal topic of city life through the fictional scene, including paranoia and psychological problems.

1927 Troupe
The 1927 Troupe of Britain was founded by poet Susan Andrade and animator Paul Barry. Its debut The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea caused a sensation at Edinburgh Art Festival in England in 2007 with then a tour to New York and Sri Lanka. The style of the troupe is well-known for its combination of live performances and nifty projection of animation, while its creation is inspired by fairy tales, silent films and thriller elements of painting of the Edward VII Era. With black humor, it explores contemporary social problems.
