Features: ABBA is one of the most commercially successful acts in the history of pop music. On December 30th, The rearranged ABBA pop group will lives on with ABBA THE MUSIC - THE ULTIMATE TRIBUTE TO ABBA.

BRIEF INTRODUCTION

ABBA was a Swedish pop group formed in Stockholm in 1970 which consisted of Anni-Frid "Frida" Lyngstad, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Agnetha Fältskog. ABBA has sold over 375 million records worldwide, which made them the fourth best-selling music artists in the history of recorded music. They still sell between two to three million albums a year. ABBA was the first pop group to come from a non-English-speaking country that enjoyed consistent success in the charts of English-speaking countries.

Since it started in 2001, the ABBA THE SHOW went through considerable artistic developments and now makes use of the latest in modern technology, with dazzling stage lighting and lively video projections. This way this production not only takes you on a trip down memory lane, but also offers the audience a genuine modern spectacle, worthy of any other current popular act.

A lot of effort has been made to make this the ultimate tribute to, to quote Bono, one of the best pop groups there ever was. But most importantly, what brings this elaborate production to a higher level of experience for the public is the inherent and exceptional musical quality, with 3 strong pillars:

1. Swedish singers Katja and Camilla exude ABBA from their pores during their performance. They are no 'interchangeable actors', but true singers. On the tour bus the girls often listen to different ABBA-songs to pronounce every little detail perfect. For a bit of history: Camilla can be seen as a child, singing along in the 'Thank you for the music' video clip.

2. The National Symphony Orchestra of London, conducted by Matthew Freeman is one of the finest orchestras in Europe and has worked with the likes of Elvis Costello, Robbie Williams and Sir Cliff Richard.

3. The inclusion of original ABBA musicians.
